Because I like sending greeting cards via internet to my family and all my friends, I took the trouble to compare several ecard-portals, because there are so many differences in the things they offer. The world wide web contains lots of these greeting-card-portals. That's why I have choosen a small part of them to compare.

Aside from the motives of the cards I have also assessed the handling, the design and the allotment of adverts on the page.

But the most important thing in my evaluation is the quality of the ecard-motives, the photos and cartoons, the quantity of them and the clear subdivision in categories. Furthermore I describe special features the sites offer and the kind of placing adverts if they exist.

The highest score a page can reach in my rating-system is six. But I have noticed, that none of the sites I tested has reached the full score. The best pages I think are Ecardking.com, because of the clear design and the nice features and Care2.com with its special offers and the good ecards and games.

The other tested portals also offer nice cards or other nice features, but either the design is not the best for handling or adverts and popups are marring the fun of sending greeting cards.
